Leigh-Ann is the founder of Girl Geek Dinners in Johannesburg and of The Written Word, a marketing and communications agency. Leigh-Ann decided to start Girl Geeks after finding that there was a lack of networking opportunities for tech-savvy women. Girl Geek Dinners have been extremely successful in Jozi – post the first event in November 2011, the dinners have been sold out. Leigh-Ann is a copywriter, specialising in writing for digital, and marketing consultant. She has put these skills to good use with Girl Geeks.
